do you have to pull the engine to replace the oil pump on a 95 lt1

 

just the oil pan. I been told you need to lift the engine a little too be able too pull the pan thou.

 

It's a pain but can be done in the car. You have to jack the engine way off the mounts.... remove the oil level sensor and dipstick tube and turn the crank to a certain position just to slide the pan out. Once it's off, changing the pump is pretty easy.
