I mangled my brake line.

Well I was trying to put on my braided brake lines and the nut where it goes into the rubber line on the passenger side is completely rounded off, I used a line wrench but it is in there.
I am going to have to cut it out.
Does Chevrolet dealer sell lines pre bent or am I gonna have to bend it?
Please tell me the sell them pre bent.

I'm not sure but looking in the parts manual it says (Tubing, bulk (steel) 3/16x20 FT roll (FRT BRK) (8.965))

So I would say, it doesn't look good. Perhaps a junkyard replacement would be better?

The six shooter cars should have the same brake line correct?
That would make it easier to find in the boneyard.

I'm still learning how to read the GM parts manual, but as far as I can tell all 93-97 cars have the same front break hard lines.

I wonder if you could cut and splice some line. I'm not sure if it’s just a flare and a nut set up or not but if so you might not have to replace the entire line.

I did the exact same thing on my front line when I put my LS1 brakes on. The dealer sells the line in bulk. You will have to bend it and then flare it correctly at the ends.

I also tried purchasing the premade lines from the automotive stores to bend myself, but none of them have the 2 different nuts on the ends. (They are different size nuts)

I ended up getting one from the junkyard.

Man I definitely can see how you did it......I almost did on the center rear line and then finally decided to leave it rubber so that I didn't mangle it.....They are tough to get off for sure.

Anyways....Can't you just cut off the nut and buy a flaring kit and re-flare the tubing? I thought I had always heard that flaring isn't too difficult....not sure...

Of course, by the time you went through that you could have probably drove to the junkyard, gotten a line and put it on.

I might try to flare it, not sure if there is enough slack.
Boneyard might be my best bet.
Thanks guys.
