I love a Loudmouth, but I'm in love with a Hooker

Ok guys, get your minds out of the gutter.

I've currently got a Loudmouth on my car now, but I recently watched a clip of a member's car in a different thread on a dyno run, and he had a Hooker exhaust.

The Hooker exhaust sounded AWESOME, and looked great on the car as well. Will the Hooker flow as well/better than the SLP Loudmouth? The reason I ask is because I'm ready to ditch the Loudmouth and get the Hooker.

Also, if the guy with the clip of the dyno with the Hooker exhaust stops by this thread, I've got some questions.

1. How much power did you pick up with the Hooker?

2. Is the installation pretty straight-forward, or did a lot of "custom" work have to be done to the exhaust to get a straight and tight fit?

3. How is the overall quality and fit/finish of the exhaust?

4. What exhaust system do you have, and what are the dimensions? Is it a full cat-back system?

5. What is the pricing on the system, and where can I find a dealer to get one (provided I like what I hear )?

My hooker is in the mail to replace my Borla. I'll have to search for that thread. I watched some hot chick drive by me in an LT1 Z28 and I noticed it was the Hooker by the look and tone. Simply amazing. Much, much better than the way my car sounds currently which is why I'm doing something about it.

I'm personally not a big fan of Borla. I think they're more of a "HEY LOOK AT ME!" exhaust much more than anything else. I forget where I saw it, but there was a magazine that dynoed popular exhausts, and Borlas were only freeing up like 2hp at the wheels. I forget where I saw it.

I have Flowmaster and I relly hate it. Way too loud. But maybe the one that is on the car is one of the louder series. I also think my cat has been gutted as well so that could have something to do with it. I will be going with the Hooker soon.

I wish I had a video of my car on the dyno but another option is an ATR catback. IMO any exhaust you go with will be nicer in quality and sound better than Loudcrap.

ATR is way expensive... around 700 right? Thats what i thought atleast.... i have had my hooker for about 2 months and i love it. Sounds great and kinda low and good tone cruising, then when you mash the pedal and really get on it, it opens up and really shows its personality, Even BETTER SOUND AT FULL THROTTLE!! Before you put it on thought you way want to put somekind of rust protectant on itm i have heard stories of them rusting.... Mine doesnt even have ANY dirt on it... Alittle dust though, weird huh?

If i had the money ...

Corsa

But i dont have the $$$ to blow so looks like the Flow Master can consider itself home on my Z ...

Any of you guys ever hear the Corsa Corvette LS1/6 Pace Car Edition ... Best V8 exhaust I've ever heard ... one word , WOW ... then you see the price tag too lol ...

Corsa would be my choice if there weren't 3 million other things to spend money on. I don't like any of the flowmaster catbacks i've heard....they sound like crap on an LT1 IMO but gotta love em on mustangs.
