Angry I lost one of the clips that hold fuel injectors in place

You know the little metal clip that slides in to lock the injectors in. Where can I get one or do have to buy a whole set? Do I have to have it? Any help would be great. Thanks Alan

Look right in that same area on the lip of the intake it is probably resting right there. That's where mine was at least, who knows how long it was sitting there. It didn't appear too necessary to me, the injector remained snug fit without it.

unless your having some kind of a problem, i wouldn't worry about it until you have to pull the fuel rail. with the o-rings on the injectors, they tend to seal up pretty tightly. the clips are mainly just to hold it in place while your trying to get it together. but you should be able to get them really, really cheap if you need some new ones.

yea, well my fuel rail and intake are off the car. I took off one the last injector on one side to compare it to the new ones and didn't notice that it slid off the rail. oh well I guess it will be ok.

It'll be fine without the clip.

I took all mine off during the last injector change. Glad to be rid of those PITA's. NO problems...

Try probing around with a magnet where you think the clip might be. Since you have your intake off and the clip is missing, how do you know it is not in the engine?
