I just ordered a becool radiator from summit racing, pn BCI-60028. It comes with a free becool radiator cap, a 16psi one. Should I use that cap, or the stock one thats an 18psi cap?

 

let me know how it fit for you please. also do you still have the ac?? i am about to get one myself and was wanting to know how the fit. I think the be cool rads can use a stock cap but it would not look as nice lol. but i dont see what using the 16psi cap would hurt. I could be wrong

Watching this thread also. I'm in the market for one but the price is just sickening.

 

i was talking to becool today and the sugest running the 16 psi. They say that all the 18 psi cap would do is raise what the temp odf boil over would be and the 16 psi car is enough becouse if our cars get that hot to boil over we have other problems anyhow.

I have a Griffin aluminum radiator, and run a 16# Billet Specialties cap. Works fine on a 381 pushing 800HP on nitrous.
