I would bet its not them. Pull the valve cover and start it and double check though.
Sometimes ( At least, on dirt bikes) I have seen a engien squeel and squick very loudly a spark plug is in loose. Then once the metal heats/expands, it is enough to seal and not let air leak(Squeel) out past the plug. I have seen on particular dirt bike do this on numerous occasions.

I had the same noise about a month ago.. It would only make the noise when engine was cold, well to make a long story short my arp header bolts were backing out and loose! Tightend them back up and the noise went away.
