Thats one of my goals. How does the average cost comparison of a 396 HR compare to a SR 396. Is 460 rwhp with a aggressive HR still a realistic goal?

the extra cost will come from the lifters, springs and converting the heads to 7/16 stud mount rockers.

My last combo I drove on the street all the time. 396 AFR Headed SR. Made 464rwhp. Checked the vavles every two weeks just to be safe. New setup is for track only, but might see the street once in a great while for a sunday outting.

My 250/260 (ish ) solid roller drives about like my GTP6 cam/stock heads did. However, I have more cubes, more compression, and the car is lighter. Those are BIG factors.
