Now that I got your attention...What's the overall difference between SA rockers and NSA rockers? what's the advantage? Why are the NSA rockers said to be better more HP? Someone smart explain.....

SA rockers have little tabs on the rocker that go on either side of the tip of the valve to keep them aligned. NSA rockers dont have the tabs and require guideplates to keep everything lined up, NSA are generally reccomended for high lift and high rpm engines. I dont see how one rockers would give you more HP than the other execpt the slight amount of weight by the tabs being on the SA's.

NSA rockers are better for stability reasons at higher RPMs as previously mentioned. Beyond that, the next step up is shaft mounts.

Sp if I plan to go to a Hydra-Rev kit later on when I do the heads...does it make a difference if I have the NSA or SA thenn...since the HR kit allows safer high RPM operation?

I'm trying to atleast get to 6500.

la la la la la..warm it up...la la la la la.....the girls are waiting...

the "rev kit" is for the lifters not the rockers
and you dont "need" it, a good set of lifters like Comp 875's ('R') will do just fine for 6500 rpm's and more

so for 6.5K RPMS with an agressive street cam can I get away with the SA rockers?

Then all you'd need is what the Valve springs and the rockers or something right?

I would def go with non-self aligning if you plan on spinning that high. There really isnt a price difference between the two anyways. I would also recommend you go with the rockers for a 7/16th stud rather than the 3/8's. Ally ou would need is the rockers, studs, and guideplates for this rocker setup. The valvesprings you will need depends on what cam you aare planning on running, get yourself a good set of lifters while your at it.
