Can anyone help out with this? I have the red 16pin cnnector for USB and can't get my laptop to connect to my PCM. I've tried Free Scan and Data Master with no luck. What am I doing wrong. I am only trying to get my code for the SES. Any help would be great. Thanks!

 

OK, update. I am now talking to the car. It seems I needed a USB driver. Anyone have a good idiot-proof program that works well for scanning? Thanks again.

 

I use Freescan. I haven't tried any of the others. I'm sure there are several out there that are much better - but it sure hard to beat the price for something that works.
