I was reading this mag called Camaro Performers. And they had a 02 Z28 and it dynoed at 308 hp. Then they added a Granatelli MAF sensor, Holley Power Shot filter, Granatelli cold air lid and it added 19 rwhp. They also picked up .15 in the quarter. They then added some hooker shorty headers and a Borla adjustable cat-back and that added 9 rwhp but they gained .2 in the quarter. Does this sound right??

 

Yeah it sounds about on the level, The LS1 loves to breath freely. Open up the intake and exhaust suddenly it perfroms a little better. Almost every magazine that covers GMs has done a similar article on how to bolt on valuable horses to your 98+ f-body. If only GM had done this from the factory, too bad they were more concerned with mpg and reliabilty.
