What is a good cam to use with an LT1 in a truck. I don't want to loose too much low end power because I want to occasionally tow. Would a 112 or 114 LSA be better in this case? hotcam? A higher stall converter wouldn't work well with towing either, would it?

Crane makes a 210/224 that the Impy guys use... some guys on here running it as well.

 

I'll add another peice to the puzzle and say 114 lsa is what you want..

 

If you want to have low rpm torque for towing, you probably don't want to go with a low LSA cam.

 

looking at thunder racing.. the comp cams 304 doesn't look too shabby.. good lift, duration isn't too steep, and on a 114 lsa..
