Question i am dumbfounded......

i would like to know if anyone else's gas gauge goes down a lot faster when its on the left side.....ive come to realise that i get about 125-150 miles for the right side of the tank, but like 20 miles for the left side....it just moves very smoothly, and quickly i might add, towards the E on the left side....i am confused and a half

It's normal, it's the same on my car. I think it might be because of the shape of the tank. I know what you mean though, it's pretty annoying.

This is normal, both my Z28s do this, as does everyone else I have ever know with a 4th gen car.

The reason I have heard for this is because the Gas Tank has a "V" shape to it, so the closer you get the to the bottom the less gas there really is, thus it will be used faster.

If you are only getting 170 Miles per tank, I would check on that... That is sorta low unless you really drive the **** out of your car.

A better gauge for the fuel is that when your tank is Waay Past the Full then it is on full. At "3/4 tank" your about half-way through your tank. And when the gauge is around "1/8 tank" I'd say the fuel light comes on.. I waited for the fuel light to come on once and ended up calling a buddy to drive me some gas on the side of the road.
