hypertech help, wont read computer?

ok, so i bought this hypertech programmer off ebay today,

and it was used once but in that use the power to the computer was cut (dead battery)

and it starts up and says, programming was interupted, programming will continue now.

ive got the computer it was tuned with (crashed he computer from what imtold)

and it wont communicate with the computer it was mated with, would it be safe to hook it to my cmputer? i dont want to fry it...

Sounds like you bought a paperweight. If power to the computer it was programming was cut during programming, it might have fried the computer. The Hypertech is probably now mated to that computer and can't be used on anything else. Since it won't communicate with the original computer, you are basically stuck with little remedy. The Hypertech is not considered of much use, anyway, unless you want to do some very basic things. I'd get my money back.

I remember that you can tune it for one car and have to remove the tune from it to switch vehicles. They usually say that in the description. Ebay has a good protection plan, as I have found out.
