Hub Bolt

Do most people reuse the stock hub bolt when doing a rebuild? I know it's not a torque to yeild bolt but I figure it might be a good idea to replace it when I put the new engine together.

Re: Hub Bolt

Its 3 bucks, replace it.

I broke mine in two pulling the hub back on in my old motor. Pretty much sucked.

Re: Hub Bolt

If it's that cheap, might as well I guess. Cheap insurance. I'll look for a part number and post it up when I find it for anyone else that may want it.

Gmpartsdirect makes you buy 10 of the bolts, So i'd get it from the dealer before buying it from them.

Re: Hub Bolt

Ya that was my dealer price, and only had to buy one. I think it was $3 at least, I know it was under 5.
