HP and Rocker arms
HP and Rocker arms
is it possible to get good gains from getting new rockers?
i saw some crane rocker arms in summit and they said it can add up to 25 HP. is this true? i'm also running a stock cam.
also what size would be best? thank you!

Going to a 1.6 full rollerwill be worth about 20-25hp. Buddy of mine installed a set and picked up 2mph and 2 tenths at the race track. They reduce friction and give more lift when you go with a 1.6 ratio.
I had my '96 WS6 dynoed before and after 1.6 Crane installation. Net gain in SAE torque = 12 lb. ft., SAE H.P. = 20 H.P.
The engine is stock except for the usual K&N, underdrive pulleys, MSD 6, MSD coil, throttle body bypass, Borla exhaust. Last dyno was 286 H.P. and 308 lb. ft. at the wheels with the 6 speed.
New valve springs will help also if you have some mileage on the engine. The Cranes will fit under stock valve covers.
