with an estimated weight of about 3300 lbs 100mph is about 230-240rwhp on all the calcs i tried, but obviously other things come into play like traction gearing, etc

What F-Body is going to weigh 3300lbs with driver and fuel in it?

Plug in the calcs with more like 3600lbs I bet, assuming he's around 200lbs or so.

Beat me to it.. I was gonna say you guys are nuts. LMAO...

My car weight was 3540lbs. 1/4 tank of gas and me (140lbs). Thats on the low side of what Ive seen. So given my stock trap of 97mph... it estimates at 257rwhp. LMAO and you guessed 230 ~ 235? Bwahahaha...sorry..

back to estimations...
100.63 was the mph.

287rwhp using my weight figures...
292rwhp using 3600lbs. So you just have to weight your car on a scale with you and see what the weight is so you can get a better idea. Lucky me..Im trapping 102~103 now.

That calculator is a POS. A stock LT1 auto isn't going to put down 257 rwhp. I hate to be a sceptic and all, but I seriously doubt your car is making 287 either if you're only trapping 102-103. Stock LS1s make that kind of power and have 106 traps to go along with them.

You can be a skeptic all you want.. Ive beaten a little over a handful of the LS1 cars I have encountered my small margins and only lost by very small amounts to 2 of them. Oh and LS1 Auto cars don't normally trap 106 They average 103~105mph and from what Ive personally seen its the lower end of that range.

This won't change you're opinion i'm sure, but I have to throw this in. My buddy Brett Downs (LT1Brutus) put down 260 rwhp back when it had a few bolt ons and a 2800 Vig. It ran 13.05 @ 105.5. So explain to me how your car w/ 27 more rwhp runs 2-3 mph slower?

I have 2.3 ~ 2.6 60fts to go with those mphs.

Explain to my how your friends car with only 260rwhp runs faster than average LS1 cars that have 290~300rwhp stock? Trick questions are fun.

I'm through arguing with ya about this b/c I think we can both agree that it is pointless.

I do, however, wish I had enough $$$ to pay for a dyno pull with your car. I think you'd be surprised at the results.

Good night.

I would say 260 rwhp @ 3650 lbs to run 14.0's@100.63 MPH.

Rwhp is just part of it, rwtq is very important also.

Dyno #'s mean crap. I dyno less than a lot of guys and would smoke them with my car weighing more.

Stock tire calculations matter hear as well.. You have an awesome 60ft which shaves off your ET..regardless of HP/TRQ. I do agree that other things affect the situation. Im not saying any of the numbers are accurate. As they calculators state on them...just estimations to be taken with a grain of salt.
