How's the SPEC 6 puck stage 3 holdup?

Anyone had their 6 puck SPEC past break-in yet? I have a 6 puck ceramic waiting to install and would like to hear from ya b4 I install it. I've heard about the 3 puck failures already.

I will let ya know when i install it, getting the 6 puck stage 3 and the lightweight flywheel as a replacment for my stage 2 tomarrow. Supposed to be ALOT better then the 3 and a mix of ceramic and carbon.

I have the new design STAGE III CARBON and it took (5) 5,000rpm dumps on motor and pulled consistant 1.64 60'ft. on motor. (MID 11's)

Then it took another 4,500RPM dump on a 150shot (650hp). picked the front end up and produced a 1.49 60ft with a 10sec. ET.

Never slipped a bit.

HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!!! I dont like the street driveability issues it has, especially with the aluminum flywheel. I was the second person in the country to get one of the new designs after breaking (2) of the original Stage III's. They have no street manners in traffic and are even worse when backing up in reverse(shudder terribley). They are either "IN" or "OUT" there is no in between, but like I said; I think the aluminum flywheel has alot to do with that since it has almost no rotational mass (13lbs.)

On another note, I have never heard anything but GREAT stuff about the McLeod Street Twin. Street manners and track!!!! I wish I would have bought one of those.

Well I almost bought the stage 4 so i'm really not concerned with driveability too terribly. The car is mostly a weekend warrior and my main concern is not NEEDING to replace the clutch right after my install. Things look more promising with the new design it appears.

Thanx for the responses as i'll install mine tonight!
