How's the LT1 driveshaft come out?

I expected it to be like it is on an LS1, simply drive the driveshaft forward into the tranny to get it off the yoke, then pull it right out. My driveshaft on my LT1 seems to not slide into the tranny, so I just unbolted it from the yoke and took the rear-end off (which I was doing anyways ). Now I still can't pull the driveshaft out out of the tranny! How does it come out? I yanked as hard as I could with no success. Is there some clip or something somewhere I hafta take out?

Nope...comes right out. Keep pulling .

The splines might be damaged or there might be debris.

if it was from the car in that wreck it probably got jammed on to the output shaft.
