Maybe madwolf would know this best. How well will a car run without the vss signal?

 

With a manual I dont think you'll have issues except your ABS probably wont work and of course no speedo. If you had an auto I dont think it would shift right or go into overdrive. My buddy accidentally broke the wire on his 02 silverado and it wouldnt shift into overdrive unless you ran it close to redline which was damn near 100mph.

 

I figured it would throw off my mixture or never leave closed loop or somthing.

 

It will be ok.

The VSS code is disabled so you'll be ok.
