Why would you want to put a 7" rim on one of these cars? They come stock with 8" wheels.

Widest you can go would be a 225. I think that might be pushing it, but IIRC, it can be done.

Will it look dumb? I dunno. It will be narrow, that is for sure. I don't know what kind of backspacing it will need to be, or if you will have any brake clearance issues. Might want to look into that.
I had 225's on my Grand am,
I dont think they would clear the front brake thuogh.

I think it would look odd, way to narrow.

Thanks for the reply's. The reason i asked is bc there was a really nice set of 17" wheels on ebay for pretty cheap that will fit a camaro. But they are only 7" wide, so i was pretty sure that the biggest tire i could put on there would like really bad on a camaro, especially mine. So i think thats gonna be a BIG no on the 7" wide wheels. Thanks alot

If you can get a 225 tire on a 7" wheel (I have no idea, never tried), then you can check out some pictures of my car, which currently has 225s on it (stock 8" wheels though). The last owner put them on there, I don't think they look that bad. :blah:
