Thumbs up how to solve the dreaded rear end clunk

although this has been discussed many times before, i just wanted to put a heads up out there and confirm what several board members have already mentioned:

if you seem to have that dreaded rear end clunking every time you hit a bump or something similar, then what you need to do is get your car in the air and torque all you your suspension related bolts up. usually people suggest torquing just the LCAs (while the the rear suspension is at curb height), but i figured while i was under mine yesterday, i'd do the torque arm, panhard bar, and sway bar as well

now, no more squeaks, rattles, clunks, nothing. perfect silence. hope this helps anyone out there that has this problem.

they didnt neccessarily come loose from the factory, but is possible that the loosen over time because all the power going to the rear end. however, b4 i bought the car, i saw that there was some work done in the rear end area, and my guess is that they were never properly torqued back up, and thats why they came loose.

what i mean by torquing, is get yourself a 1/2 torque wrench, and a chiltons manual (or something similar for torque specs.) and properly torque the nuts/bolts. or if u prefer, i can list the torque specs for everything in the rear suspension. i have a chiltons manual myself that does list those numbers.
