how to set valve lash without hub installed

I've disassembled my engine to replace various seals and want to adjust valve lash while I'm in there but I don't know when to adjust the valve since I can't determine where TDC is per cylinder. I've already removed the hub. Does anyone have an idea?

www.shbox.com has a thorough how-to procedure. Whether you use the hub or not it doesn't matter. Just stick a proper 7/16x20 bolt in the crank and turn.
