how to release ebrake handle

trying to release e brake to get console over it.

any advise would help.. thanks

There is a little release lever right around the gear mechanism. I think it was a bronze color, but I forget. I was just pushing and pulling different things down there and one of them released the lever.

I got it.Just moved that little lever there with a screwdriver.
