hey i havent fired the car up in a little over a month, and pulled the heads yesterday. there was a light layer of either dust or rust on the cylinder walls that wiped right off. but im not interested in it getting worse. what can i do to make sure the walls dont start rusting or any other part of the block for that matter? what else should i do now that the heads are off (getting ready to do heads/cam)

 

Coat the cylinder walls with motor oil.
