now would be a good time. Maybe 60-80K miles would be about right.

Might not be a bad idea to change them. Hpwever, I can't say guarantee It'll solve your problem. Do a search and you'll see plenty of people have had hesitations and have had a tough time tracking them down.

If you know any one with a scanner start there then start with parts. Hate to see you waste your money and not have the problem solved.

When my O2 went out it through a code.

I just replaced mine at 84k after breakin of new engine, hoping to improve a high rpm missfire. Didn't fix that, but idle got less stinky, BLMs got better. Old O2 sensors would still swing from 100 - 900 mV or so, but faster and not together. New ones swing slower, and much closer to matching. Split BLM's got better for most cells, but still see differences up to 20 in some cells, with about 20 miles on PCM reset.

What are BLMs? Also, are oxygen sensors supposed to not swing readings back and forth so fast?

On a scanner it will go from 100-900 very fast once the car wams up. So fast it hard to tell what number its on. Maybe 2 changes a second. Read this:
