Once I had a hotcam with stock catback, it was loud. A big cam like the GM847 will be loud and noticable.

I ran a hot cam through stock manifolds and slp off road y pipe with stock lt1 z28 exhaust and i could barely hear it. You could feel a hell of a power loss from going from the borla to the stock exhaust. I would at least put a cut out in.

There really isn't anything too sleeper about going aftermarket cam. I'm running the LT4 Hot Cam Kit.. and it lopes, even with a tune and the idle bumped up to 1000, you can't hide it.

Anyone that is decently well knowledgeable will notice it isn't the factory valvetrain. With my cutout closed it still lopes, with it open, dear lord it chops. It actually sounds a lot meaner than what it is to be perfectly honest with you.

1 3/4" Long tubes with 3" offroad y-pipe and a 3" catback to a flowmaster 40 series muffler.

The cutout is a single 3" with a QTEC electronic at the mid pipe before it goes over the axle to the muffler.
