Honestly, with 138k miles, I wouldn't even buy the car. Unless, of course he only wanted $2-3k for it.

You should be able to find a nice 94-95 w/ less than 100k miles for about $5-6k...and possibly less.

I was a little off on the price there, MD cars are a little more expensive than down here...but here's a few:

They're all under 100k miles and all are under $8k. The first couple are $6500 and $7k. The last two are just under $8k but the have less than 75k miles. Just negotiate the price and you should be able to get them for $500-1000 less than what they're asking.

i guess i should have said that i really really want a black z... the first one looks cool. iv seen the second one (the red one) but i was like whats up with some of the specs???? "

This 94 Camaro has 88,609 miles. It is A Z28 with the Lt1 Corvette engine. It has a custom interior that is Red and Black, this option was only available in 1000 cars in ?94. It has Flowmaster Delta series aftermarket exhaust with 4" pipes, and the K&N Intake system. It has Custom Progressive 17? wheels with Khumo 275/40. The tires are in good condition. It has an Aftermarket pioneer CD player with all new speakers. In the back there is 2 6? Sony?s and in the front are 2 door mounted tweeters and 2 4? pioneers. This car also just had a new Tranny, clutch, pressure plate, and a re-surfaced flywheel as of April 2002. It also has a new fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. It was just inspected and is good in Delaware through 2004. I just changed the oil at 88,300 miles, and I also just put on all new hoses and a starter. The price for this car is $7000 OBO. If you are interested call Me (Joey) at 302-249-5564.

whats up with the new tranny? sound like abuse dont ya think? and the seller doesnt know a dman thing about the car.. it just kinda scared me away...im wondering if its a 5 or 6 speed...later

I don't know how common Z's or Formula's/TA's are in you area, but around here you can't touch them for that low! I bought my '95 in October (everyone wants to sell them in the winter here), it had 64K on it, t-tops, Birght Metallic Silver, gray/graphite (two tone) interior, A4, 3.23, power seats, and every other imaginable option that you could get for that year. I paid 8500 for it, and around here that's a steal! They still book for 9700 WITHOUT the options!

Corvette LT1..Tell this guy to explain that one.

I just sold my 1994 Z for 5k on 83,000 miles. 6-speed car.. I could have gotten more for it, but anyway you can find one like mine for around 6k here in Md.

Ok first of all, all 93-97 Z28 have a "corvette" engine. Its the LT1. It also came in the vettes. So dont let this guy tell you that its special or anything. And 2nd, whats with the 4" pipes? I have never heard of pipes that big on a Z!!I have 3" pipes and that is about as big as i have heard of. Sounds like this Joey guy is a jackass.

The Vette has 4 bolt mains, so while similar its not exactly the same, so if he says that engine came out of a Vette he needs to back it up with some proof. Otherwise its an Fbody LT1 IMO, despite being quite similar.

Ryu, if you look at the mods, that stuff adds up fast. TB $200-$300, Borla is still around $650-$699 so far as I know, he may mean 4" tips because that is not a 4" exaust, Gears ~$300+, Hypertech $299 if he bought it new, mods add up fast. New clutch figure he spent $500 or so for the clutch and install.

If it were bone stock he would be asking more than was reasonable with those miles, at least in CA it is overly hopefull. The cars have come way down in value.

Now I see where this came from, there are 4" systems out there, so it could be a single 4" setup.
