Okay guys...breaking in my stroker. Mostly everyone says 500 miles. Some say 1000 and even some say 2k. I was just wondering if it was your motor you slaved over....pulled..rebuilt....spend bucks on and replaced, how much miles would you go before puttin the petal to the metal?

 

I would do one complete heat cycle. Meaning all the way to temp then all the way down to were you can touch the headers. Then go and have some fun. If a motor is built right you have no need to go that long with out getting on it. Everyone has there own opinion though.

 

If you're worried about it, wait 2k, but 500-700 should do just fine.

 

give it 500 miles before you really work it IMO.
