How much spray?

ok so i rebuilt my LT1. it ran for about a 100 miles and then the car caught fire. Shop did all the work, so that is being dealt with. But the motor is in good condition still. so my plan is to just replace the wiring harness and get the car running again. I want to spray the motor tho. We bored it .020 over and new pistons of course, a set of felpro race headgaskets, chromemoly rings, 1.6 NSA CC RRs, beehive valve springs, CC503, ported and polished heads, rods resized and crank polished with all the boltons besides a TB, new Waterpump, Oil Pump, Opti. Well my question is, how much spray do you think the motor can handle and what size injectors should i go with and what spray kit is best for the car. I have tunercats and datamaster so tuning wont be much of an issue.

Get you a wet kit from one of the supporting vendors on here. You wont need to upgrade injectors. A stock bottom end will run a 100 shot no problem, with all the right safety equipment. Are any of the new parts you put in forged? If so, I would throw a 150 on it and never look back.

I would probably go with a wet kit and jet it around a 100-150 shot. You should be safe in that sizing. I would check out the sticky in the nitrous forum and read about the "safety gear" that you should run along with your nitrous setup.

well i definetly plan to take all the precautions, Im just turning this car into my drag car, i have an STi for a daily driver. None of the parts are forged, big mistake by not going with forged but too late now. If i take all the right precations im hoping for a 150shot and at most a 175 shot. So u dont think i would need a new fuel pump and injectors. the injectors kinda melted so i have to get a new set anyway. so what size injectors should i go with knowing that im going to be spraying too?

If you get a wet kit, just get injectors that will handle the power requirements needed by your naturally aspirated motor. Then it wouldn't be a bad idea to upgrade your fuel pump to a higher flowing unit from Racetronix.
