How much RWHP would one expect with Ported heads & Cam?

Let say you had a set of heads that have been ported very well. Say, 260+ intake and 200+ exhaust. Then throw maybe a XE 230/236 cam in the mix. What kind of RWHP would one expect with a A4?

I was thinking 75+ RWHP on this combo.

My friends 96 Z went from 250 RWHP to 414 RWHP with Longtubes, Ported heads, and a CC306 cam with LT1 Edit tuning. Thats 164 RWHP increase with those mods. This was done on a M6.

Any input?

I would say between 350 and 400rwhp. Just depends on how radical of a cam you go, and nice flowing heads. If your going Solid Roller , you can exspect closer to 400.

Yeah, I was expecting if I put this set-up on a stock LT1 with golt-ons and go with a XE 230/236 Cam with the ported heads that a A4 Lt1 should put out about 360-380 RWHP.

Folks I know say going to a solid cam just is not worth the hassle unless you dont plan on driving it much.

This would be for the intent of a daily driver plus track action 2-3 times per month all year long. GOD BLESS SOUTH TEXAS!

Check the sig. My heads flow 260@ .550 intake and 201@ .550 exhaust. Generic program to boot, a dynotune showed no substantial increase at all .

So far 1/4 mile times havn't been so good. I've run a best of 12.8 @ 110-109 with a soft launch on drag radials. 60 ft times suck at 2.0, This year I'll have some more opportunities to improve my times.

360-380 is about right, I've seen several people hit high 390s with that cam and stage 2 heads threw an m6. If the heads are done properly I'd expect closer to 380.
