How much horse power are you guys all bolt on guys making? like headers, cai, pulleys, cat-back .

With exactly does mods i'd say 27xhp-30xtorque. Maybe 280hp.

 

Yeah your looking at about 280. Thats what I put down with my mods.

 

If those headers are Long Tubes I would say that you will put out atleast 300rwhp with a motor that is in good condition. I had a buddy put down 310rwhp with only LT's w/true duals and a CAI.

 

So somewhere between 280-300 you guys think this is enough to handle a stock 2000 SS?

 

Well, it depends on traction, and how much of a freak the LS1 is. I have seen bone stock LS1's run from 13.8's to 13.0's, so it really is hard to say. It should be close though.

 

With CAI, pulley, and cutout, I put down 260 hp and 295 tq. I did have some ignition probs up topand was running rich, so it should be more now that I fixed it.

 

Are you an A4 or M6?

A M6 with headers, catback, CAI and pulleys should put down around 290-300 rwhp.

I put down the numbers in my sig with headers, catback and CAI.

With the mods you mention, it will be a drivers race with the 2000 SS, but I would still give the LS1 a slight advantage. It depends on a few things, is he a A4 or M6, and are you an A4 or a M6.

Im a A4 3:23 and he is a M6 he is a mediocur driver he isnt the best but isnt bad.

I agree, as an old man I do enjoy dyno racing. Some day I will
head out to LACR and embarass myself. But until then, I was at 293 rwhp
(SAE) with bolt-ons and stock cast iron exhaust manifolds. It's a bit
misleading when I say cast iron manifolds because I have a pretty nice
exhaust system to make them the best they can be. What the heck, it's
only money right.

 

heh i wasnt being a smart @ss, thats the funny part. i dont really race, so my racing is done on the dyno and getting onto the highway
