How much is rebuilt stock short block$

I'm just wondering what a 4 bolt main rebuilt LT1 with stock cam oil pump, & oil pan is worth? This of course is with a good rebuild? I don't own it but a buddy of mine bought one today. What is a good price? Thanks, Fred

I can't give you a exact price on a rebuild because lots of machining could be required but keep in mind that you can buy a NEW 4 bolt short block from Sroggins Dickey for $1750 but thats without a pan.
