how much power should I expect?
Just ordered CC 503 cam, LE2 cylinder heads, 30# injectors and the thinner Impala SS head gaskets. I will be getting a mail order tune from Bryan at PCM4less. Just wondering how much power I should expect to put down. Here is a list of the stuff already done to the car.
SLP short tube headers (96-97 style)
SLP 2OTL catback
GMPP 1.6 roller rockers
Edelbrock 52mm throttle body
160 t-stat
1LE intake elbow
SLP Underdrive pulley
LT4 km
SLP lightweight clutch and flywheel
1LE driveshaft
4.10 gears
Car made 321rwhp with setup listed plus cc 502 camshaft and heads cleaned up and mild porting.

I would say 380rwhp. Not quite sure. I do know that a stock-heads car with a 224/230 and shorties will put down 330rwhp. Throw on longtubes and it will put down 350rwhp. Its really hard to say.
I've seen an Le1 heads gm847 motor put down 417rwhp. On the other hand, the stock heads gm847 put down 365rwhp. This tells me roughly that there is a 50hp difference between le1 and stock. That tells me that if a full bolt-on 224/230 with stock heads can put down 330rwhp, then an le1 heads car can put down 380rwhp. Probably add up to 400rwhp for an le2 motor. But then take 20hp off that total because of shorties and it brings you back down to 380rwhp.
I am probably looking way too deap into this. Just do a search on the cc503 cam and you will see others with results.
