I am about to go do this right now I just need some tips. What method did you use and how did you do it? I have a bunch of dremel bits that are fresh and ready to go. Thanks.

Yea just use a dremel and start to slowly take some off...there isn't a "set" amount that you take off...it's going to depend on your chain and cover...

I did not have to grind away on my timing cover when I did the double roller chain. I would check to make sure it hits before you start grinding away at it.

Mine fit with no modifications whatsoever, other than the spacing for the CPS sensor.

I did check... what I did was put small dabs of antiseize on the rivots on the chain and wherever it showed up it meant the clearance was missing or very small so I just took some material off and its good to go now! The crank sprocket has a recess in the cover, the cam sprocket is what you need to worry about.

Your gasket adds a little thickness.

I figured that too, I'd rather have a little bit of clearance than a pinhead sized clearance.
