Right now i have a 97 stock auto Z with CAI and SLP Loudmouth exhaust. Looking to get a long tube headers sometime next month. around how much HP do i have now and how much will i have after the headers???

 

I'd say somewhere around 300ish at the crank.

 

If you were to dyno your car now i'd like to say you'd see 250 at the wheels, Maybe a few horses more.
After the headers maybe 275-28x. I have yet to get mine dynoed since the LT's and pretty much everything else. First dyno was 223hp 233tq (slipping transmision) that was stock!

 

TenaciousZ, what were the conditions at the track you ran at? Just wondering if the times were with the mods you have now or stock.

 

yeah, my times are less than desirable for the mods I have.. I think my opti is going out. I'm replacing the opti when I do the hotcam!
But my last time at the track it was 50ish (I don't know the humidity) 90ft above sea level. 2.4 60's resulting in 13.9's at 101, 102 etc... I spin out of the hole, hook up and then when I go WOT i start spinning again. I'm getting BFG DR's for next season so we'll see how that goes! But it pulls very hard on the top end. I've pulled LS1's on top so my top end doesn't seem very indicitive of a 13.9 @ 102 car!

 

Just for comparison purposes my 94 M6 put down 277/311 with only a FIPK and Flowmaster cat back, no other mod, well besides the shifter. Not to sound like im bragging but I would expect a little less, my car I think was kindof freakish.
