Question How much to get a rear end installed

How much could I expect to pay to get new rear end gears installed, I already have the gears. How much should I expect to pay for the labor? Thanks

Around here in N. Texas I have always heard estimates from anywhere around 200 to 500 dollars. I would find out from a local member on this board maybe someone they have heard good things about. The last thing you want is to pay like 150.00 and your gears break or whine like no other.

In most cases anywhere from 150-300.00. I would only allow a reputable shop to do the install.

$300 here in Tulsa.
That's assumes that you don't need new carrier or axle bearings.
