How much does an LT1 motor weigh fully assembled?

Fully assembled as it sits in the engine bay? Probably about 700 I would guess.

heads and intake weigh only 73lbs roughly, less throttle body etc.

I remember reading 550 for the engine and 200 somehting for the trans

the manual weighs more than the auto? that doesn't seem right

I actually weighed mine and it is 525 with all front accessories and a manual flywheel. The trans was 130

If he weighed it, he IS dead on!

The bare block was enough for me to get a hernia carrying it into the machine shop.

they dont include the trans, a manual flywheel is way heavier then a flexplate. the tranny itself is way lighter then an auto.
