how much clearance do you lose with cutouts?

i have hooker LT's with a mufflex y-pipe and a hooker catback. its too quiet sometimes when i just want to wake the dead. i'm thinking about dual cutouts, on one each side of the y-pipe after the collectors. how much ground clearance will i lose? do i have to have a pre-made cutout installed or is it possible for the exhaust shop to weld in some sort of cutout custom made?

I'm sure it's possible for the shop to make some for you, they aren't hard. Also ground clearance all depends on how they install them. If they're pointing strait down it might cause an issue. If they're welded in pointing out to the sides I don't think it would have any effect at all.
