It's not hard at all. I just changed everything in mine in a day. You will need to unbolt the right cooling fan and remove the water pump to gain access, although that is fairly simple as well. I'd suggest changing to the Dynotech Engineering Dynaspark distributor (dynotech-eng.com/dynaspark.htm). A couple of plugs on the right bank are i little bit of a pain, but it'll be fine. I used the spark plug socket and turned it with a 3/4" wrench instead of the socket wrench. Good luck and don't underestimate good plugs and wires.

opti isnt hard, just time consuming. If you do something that like, it gives you some self worth, like you can do something harder, like replace a blown head gasket

You've got it easy, I have to remove my supercharger before I can start removing my water pump so I can get at my opti.

This one guy from this board told me he'll charge me 400-500 for labor to:

change opti
change water pump
change plugs and wires
change fuel filter

is that a good price, the guys was nice as well. just wondering if I can get a better deal than that.
