Around how much would it cost for me to build a 383stroker with atleast 450 at the wheels and capable of taking a 200-300 shot?

 

You need to be a little more specific on your goals. If you want 450 NA hp through a M6, it can be done without TOO much trouble.

My suggestions would be:

Lloyd heads/cam= $1600
Forged Rotating assembly= $1700
Machine work and engine build= $2000
Direct Port Nitrous= $1000
Stand Alone fuel system for nitrous= $500
Various accessories= $500-2000

It would come out to somewhere in the range of 7-9k and put you deep into the 10's on the bottle.

But remember with that much power you need to make sure the rest of the car can handle it (12 bolt, clutch, tranny, suspension, frame....).

Thats just my $.02

 

im going to throw out a number, but its hard to say, you will probably spend as much in supporting parts as the motor itself.



$10,000-15,000 including supporting parts.

your talking about building a killer car with 650-750rwhp on gas....
its not going to be cheap

alright, thanks guys. I already have some good flowing heads so i dont have to worry about that too much although the suspension and rearend will need to be taken into consideration..
