I don't judge it by how often either... whenever the need for WOT arises (whether I'm feeling juiced, or if there's somebody trying to mess with me on the road, or somebody driving like a snail, etc. etc.) I put the pedal to the metal. I love hearing my car scream especially when people next to me get scared lol.

One thing I noticed though, on highway onramps, I have a tendency to go WOT more often than driving around the city. It gives me a good feeling to enter the freeway going 20 mph faster than everybody else screamin when all the hondas and toyotas are still on the ramp.

I used to be one of those people that just drove the thing around. My friends always used to make fun of me when i would get on it, they were like "you trying to get the cobb webbs off of it". Rompin on it puts u in a good mood. If i am having a crappy day, im just like what the hell and throw it to the floor. I have babied the hell out of it, with no getting on it and the mpg wasnt that much better, so I said the hell with it. So, when the mood strikes me I do a little WOT. -Michael

Does anybody get this same experience - when the car is cold, it sounds like a beast and it kinda makes you go faster? It's weird, when it's cold my car feels like such a hog I have to exploit it lol.

although at 28 I should probably know better, I still floor it at least once a day...something about that feeling of going sideways in first always perks me up...

Great post, me and my other buddy who has a T/A talk about this all the time. Theres never a time I get in my car and don't floor it. Thats one of the reasons I love these cars, i'm always driving the **** outta it, and (knock on wood) she loves it.
I like someone elses relpy too, just to make sure nothings wrong.
