6, 3 on each side the passanger side theres one that I normally get with a swivel socket the rest you can get right onto.

If you use a shallow socket, and a long extension, you can get to that one also.

My supercharger just covered one of the bolts so an easy removal was a PITA. I could only remove it 3/4 of the way then it hit the SC unit. Nice design flaw.

my procharger you actually take one of the waterpump bolts out to bolt the supercharger bracket on to there, so you have to pull the hole supercharger and bracket off if you have to get back there.

I'm a big believer in if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But considering a coil is around 40 to 50 bucks and you are already right there, it is your car. There is alot of aftermarket options from MSD, Accel, and Crane. Another factory Delco coil will get the job done just as well also.

Cool, do you think I should go with a GM Optispark or is the MSD a better unit and is it worth the each cost?

Coils are pretty tough. If it's working fine keep it. Unless you're a firm believer in preventative maintanence.

I was thinking GM also, I found one brand new for $238.00 and the GM water pump for $150.00 does that sounds like a good deal.
