How long was your first plug change?

I just did my first plug change with a buddy who had done it once before....it took 6.5 hours on a stock motor (and yes, we did remove the alternator).

Mine took about a half hour maybe less

I replaced the stock headers before I attempted the plug change

i paid someone to do it...took him like 2 days...burned a #7 wire....replaced it myself, took like 3 hours....burned again...took like 1 1/2 hours....started to srumble again...turns out he never changed the front passenger side wire because it was too hard....2 hours later, i changed that too.

Well my first plug change was during a header install so that doesn't count since it took 5 minutes. The first plug change with the headers on the car took a little over an hour.

Yea, I always said i'd rather sell the car than do the plugs again.
With the LTs its no problem though.

about 45 mins for plugs/wires, but we were really taking our time and had the a/c compressor out while also doing an opti change.

I swear, headers should be the first mod to do on our cars, just for the sake of being able to change plugs.

I got 1 5/8 headers and that little cut-socket from SLP, its more or less a walk in the park now. It took a dealer over 1 full day to do mine with the factory manifolds, takes me about an hour now.
