how long will it take

how long do u think it would take 2 ppl to instal the slp shorties in my 1997 ss .....me and my bud are not mechanicly inclined

nothing is easy in these cars but it doesnt seem that hard....thanks

also is the slp install kit for these carsworth the money??.

if i was to buy the locking header bolts (the ones with the allen wrence fitting inside the middle that speads the end to lock it) what size should i get???

At maximum a weekend. Might be able to do it in one day if you keep on it. I will tell you that Patience is a Virtue

I dont know about the install kit, but I say get locking bolts and good gaskets no matter what.

yeah i was gonna get those ...the slp kit comes with al the bolts needed and gaskets but i dont knowif they are worth the money .....

anyboy have any opinions on slp header kit

I just took a look at their kits...Forget it, go get some quality gaskets and bolts. You want to use good hardware putting those things on, so you are only doing it once. Dont do the kit, buy some good gaskets like Felpro or SCE or Percy or Mr. Gasket. Then get some good locking bolts like Stage 8 or Breslin or ARP. Good luck with the install.
