How long to get your Pacesetters?
How long to get your Pacesetters?
Ordered a set of coated long tubes on April 6th and as of today the 17th, they are "still on order with the manufacturer", and have not even been shipped yet.

Re: How long to get your Pacesetters?
I got mine off ebay after calling a few places to get price quotes and being told "well, we don't have em NOW....but we will..."
So I snatched up a pair for $20 more since I was imapatient...
Then they sat in my room for 2.5 months looking shiney till I got off my *** and put them in...

Re: How long to get your Pacesetters?
The problem is that Pacesetter makes hundreds of different headers.
For example, Monday and Tuesday they'll make LT1 LT with emmision fittings, then Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, they'll make LT1 LT w/o emmissions. The following week, LS1 LT's all week, etc. Once they move onto the next header, that is all the stock they have until they run out of stock.
The problem is that most places don't carry more than 1 or 2 sets of headers in stock, if any. Therefore, they order them from Pacesetter, and then when Pacesetter runs out, it might be a few weeks until that product is back in assembly. This is the way Pacesetter's always done it.
Let me give SOME of you guys (and before I get flamed, this is just for the guys that haven't experienced this yet) a piece of adcive.More often than not, you're always going to end up waiting on something when you order a lot of parts for a project.
Anyway, when I got mine last year, I ordered them and Thunder Racing told me 2 weeks to my door. Got them 6 weeks later.

Re: How long to get your Pacesetters?
I ordered min in mid December, and got them at the first of march. I wanted the non-emmision version, so I waited longer. I got a really good deal on them after waiting so long, plus my car had no motor so the weren't exactly keeping me from driving the car, so I'm not complaining
Plus when they finally arrived, they were well worth the wait
