How to Jet-Hot LT's perform?

I know they have the best coating/look but how exactly does Jet-Hot's long tubes hold up as far as performance? I always see them being "the best bang for the buck" and it always gets me thinking that means their not the best, but their "good enough"

I'm pretty sure I'll be going with Jet-Hot long tubes hopefully really soon (unless convinced otherwize). I have the money saved up, now just doing some last minute checking.

Also, do you reccomend buying right from Jet-Hot over the phone? Or from somewhere like this

http://www.mascperformance.com/catal...products_id=75

I've heard Jet-Hot has absolutly amazing customer service. Thanks guys

Trevor

Jet-Hot LT's = Hooker LT's...only with thicker gauged metal and come coated...

Jet-Hot used the exact same layout as the Hooker LT's...only they offer them coated and the metal is slightly thicker...

So same performance-wise as Hooker LT's...some would like to sat that the thicker gauged metal conducts more heat...others don't...

"Best bang for the buck!"

I can't speak from experience, but when I get the money I will be going with Jet Hots. A few people have had problems with fitment issues....but I've never heard of bad product quality. You could spend more money and get FLP's or something, but you're not going to gain any more power, and there will still be some kind or problems. Jet Hot is a smaller company which means they will deal with you on a more personal basis....hence good customer service

I was originaly going to go with FLP but they are damn expensive. And I've heard some stories about them i.e. poor plug access, cheap coating etc...

jet hot lt's are very nice. i cant speak of a performance point of view yet because my car currently does not run. But they fit and look great. There is a slight fitment issue with the passenger side header. It rubs on the K MEMBER. But i am also using an aftermarket pa racing K member. I dont think there is an issue with the stock k member.

The jet hots are great except, that on my car at least on the driver side, the steering shaft was rubing, and on the passenger side the, #1 tube is resting on the ac line, will have to make a sheild between it, and the k memeber is really close with the engine off and it viberates sometimes at idle. other than that, I think there good headers.

I think they'll be different on most of the cars. I don't have any problems with what you've stated above. Anyways, they are great headers. I would order them off Jet-Hot or try to jump in on a GP. Great customer service, hands down

Jet-Hots are great headers. Fit perfectly, much better plug access. Cant really say about performance gains either, my only runs were on a broken trans mount which I just pinpointed. They do help out a lot I can say but no solid numbers.....yet.

I just put the Jet-Hots on a few months ago, and the SOTP gain was very noticable. I have no numbers, but the car definitely pulls better into the upper RPMs and didn't loose much low end if any at all. Just make sure that you start it up once they are on and nothing else is hooked up, the sound of open headers is unreal.

I just ordered my Jet hot's from www.mascperformance.com and Brett Downs was a huge help. He knows his stuff and will definatly be doing more business from him.

Mine vibrate against the stock k member at idle. There is ~1/16" clearance. I think it depends on the condition of the motor mounts

i ran 13.82 before at the track
then after i g teched 13.34 and 13.52, spun on the 13.5

i also ran my buddy w/ a stang thats about right next to me till 90mph or so, and i gained about 2-3 car lengths on him consistently. i would recomend them. my install was a bitch though.
