How to install water pump?

Question How to install water pump?

Does anyone have one of those wicked cool how-to write ups with pics and stuff for changing the water pump? I did a search but didnt find any "How-to's" Thanks all!

I only have one word of advice good luck.I had to chane a leaking water pump on my lt1 before,and trust me it was no easy chore.

Its basically just an r&r job.The hard pard is just getting to the pump bolts with all the accessories in the way.You will have to remove the smog pump to get to some of the pump bolts.It took me roughly six hours with the camaro on ramps to finish the job

here is a good guide for replacing the opti. Just use this guide to get the waterpump off and forget about the steps that have to do with the opti.

OK I just orderded the new opti from Jason Cromer and I am getting a new water pump today and plug wires tomorrow! I am bound and determined to make this b*tch run right! Any other words of caution or wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

#2 plugt is a bitch i just did plugs and wires and opti and a cant replace plug # 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it can be done but it is a pita. Maybe remove the altinator to make things easier.
