It's more of a bitch getting the stock manifolds off then putting headers on.

Yeah, getting the manifolds stock Y-pipe off is the hard part. I cut my y-pipe off with a saw-zall so that the manifilds would come out the bottom easy. Im to lazy to use wd-40 and socket extensions.

I've looked over the install guides and it seems that once you get everything out, just gotta wiggle everything in there and bolt it in.

Drivers side headers went in from the bottom, the passenger side from the top. Make sure you mask the headers or wrap up the sharp spots in the engine bay so you don't scratch the headers trying to wrestle them in. I also used a sawzall in several places, it made disassembly alot quicker. Also, spray all the old manifold bolts real good with PB Blaster or equivalent before you start to break them free.

When I did mine, I did mine very sequencially. The first night we worked on it, we took everything out that needed to be taken out before actually getting down to business. Once that was done, we nailed the stock header bolts with WD 40 and let it sit over night, then went down the next morning and hit them again just for good measures. That evening when we got back to work, I went under there with an air ratchet and they came out like butter.
But don't get me wrong, it's still a pain in the ***.
