how to get about 320 rwhp with good low end torque?

i have a 97 z28 m6 bone stock and id like to know how to make about 320 rwhp, my buddy just bought a 2002 trans am a4 and id like to be able to show him up, im thinking about either mufflex or slp loudmouth exhaust, k&n intake, and a power programmer, what else do i need to reach this goal with out giving up my low end torque or spending a fortune? thanks

mids or long tubes, true dual exhaust, cai, free mods, tuning, 1.6 rockers or elec. WP... (thats without touching the cam/heads)

stay away from the power programmer. just get a tune from Ion at www.madz28.com and save yourself the money.

All of these are great ideas without going into the engine, a cam would also put you there. These is always N2O as an option.

yeah a hotcam kit will get you to 320-333rwhp, with the mids/LT's, full exhaust, cai.

I'm at 309rwhp with bolt ons, and I dont have roller rockers, an electirc water pump, or a throttle body. If I did those things I'd be at 320rwhp or better with the stock camshaft and heads. I'd guess my torque would be over 340 as well. and my torque curves is essentially a flat line from 2000 to 4000.

The computer switch alone won't make a huge difference, but the OBDI computer does work faster than the OBDII. THe difference really becomes pronounced as the modification level is raised.
