I was wondering what kind of speed you guys are reaching at the top of 3rd gear?? I havent checked mine yet so i have no clue.... lets see what you guys are reaching

What size tires are you running? I nailed the rev-limiter about 100ft from the finish line in 3rd going ~100.

 

stock z28 size 245/50/16

I moved the rev limiter to 6200 and tapped the limiter abut 10 feet before the finish line.

 

wow thats weird I hit 110 crossing the line in 3rd with 3.42 gears and stock tires and 6400 Limiter without hitting it. Also if you have stock diameter you shouldnt have hit revlimiter at 104 with same gears. 6500 rpm with 3.42 and a diameter tire of 25.65 (which is stock 16) you would hit limiter at 112mph and for 6000 rpms it would be 103 so at 6200 you should have been able to cross line
